John Boehner and Eric Cantor are cowards

09 Mar

This Republican leadership obviously didn’t get the memo. They speak the words but their actions are unserious. Did you not hear us, boys?

CUT SPENDING AND DO IT NOW!

$61 Billion isn’t even 1/3 of last month’s deficit spending.

Cato illustrates this nicely.

Mr. Boehner. Mr. Cantor.

Do you think Americans rose up, held Tea Parties and Town Halls to entertain ourselves? Do you think we got ourselves to Washington repeatedly to send a message for the entertainment factor? Do you think that we gave you an overwhelming majority in the House so you could get better office accommodations?

Your probation period is over. Your careers are about to be, as well.

Do you really think that the American people give a DAMN about shutting down the Government?

Our patience has run out.

I’m with you Saddleburr. The Republicans are rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic. Even Rand Paul’s proposal to cut $500 billion only cuts about one-third of the deficit. Just think…we are in such bad shape that a half-trillion dollar budget cut would still leave us with about a trillion dollar annual deficit.

I genuinely fear for the country.
