Production at Exxon has been falling as older fields start to run short of oil. Some of the company’s overseas contracts also limit the amount of oil it can produce. For these reasons, Exxon has said it expects production to fall again this year.
In contrast, PetroChina expects production to increase during 2012.
And Obama is still finger wagging at ‘Big Oil’, which he is simultaneously making smaller through deliberate obstruction and punitive policies. Why, just today Obama was saying that he didn’t care about Big Oil companies and was once again demonizing them, beating the phony government subsidies drum again.
The American people are paying the price for this purposeful destruction. We’d best be doing all we can to make sure Obama pays the price in 222 days.
