Henry and Martin’s Excellent Adventure

26 Mar

We’re headed up to the Supreme Court tomorrow morning, along with a few other patriots on the day that the Supremes hear oral arguments about the Indvidual Mandate component of Obamacare.

The leftist Obama Corps is already entrenched, having been dispatched by Obama’s thug Army, the SEIU, AFSCME and the usual leftist cheerleaders.

We hope to mix it up with the other side a little.  Do you think we can get them to say something stupid for the video camera?

With gasoline priced as it is and the distance we have to travel we wouldn’t be heading up there if it wasn’t a sure thing.

Then we’ll slide over to the Americans for Prosperity ‘Hands Off Healthcare’ rally.

I’m thinking part A of tomorrow will be much more interesting than part B, but just like sports, anything can happen and that’s why they play the game.

It’ll be a long day and we hope to get something to you as quickly as humanly possible or report back that absolutely nothing happened and that all of us taking the day off and spending all that money on petrol was a waste.

As if.

I was watching cspan today and the Pro-Cradle to Grave nanny state parasites were out in force, the non-productive miscreants suckling on the teat of big government throwing a tantrum at the thought that this court may rule in favor of the idea that the federal government is limited from usurping all of our liberties.
I can’t wait to meet them in person!

Are you sure this wasn’t more like Ferris Bueller’s Day Off?

Absolutely it was! But one major point needs to be made here. I took a day off, debiting my employer paid leave, I paid for the gas to get there, I paid for the parking and I made the effort to be there on my own.

The other camp? If they had jobs that’d be a miracle. If they paid for their transportation that’d be noncredible. I saw professional handlers herding cattle today.

Today was well worth the price I paid.

But, full disclosure here….my compadres ante’d up from their own pockets. Point being that we were not compelled or enticed to attend and we were self financing.
