Stupid Question. How Many States can a Guy Call his Home State?

28 Feb

Romney has called Michigan, Massachusetts and by extension, a border state like New Hampshire, and (I think) Utah ‘Home States’.

I was born in Ohio, raised in southern California and Nevada, and have lived in Virginia a majority of my adult life.  But.  I lived in Massachusetts for 4 years and Maryland for a while.  I also had an extended layover at O’Hare airport in Chicago due to bad weather.

How many states can I declare as ‘Home States’?

I once took a bus from Ohio to Wisconsin, and II hitchhiked from Virginia to Nebraska. What can it all mean in terms of my home state?

It means you’re the vagrant candidate. Took a leak in Louisiana. Took a dump in both Dakotas. This land is your land. This land is my land…

You know that old commie song.

This whole ‘home state’ thing is such total crap.

Have flown and gone cross-country by jalopy and have seen much of the USA but have always managed to avoid Chicago and O’Hare. Have adopted Alaska as a home-away-from home because some of my family lives there.

Don’t really care where Romney claims to call home. That and a metro card would get him a subway ride.

Why thank you, Geni. Sometimes the blog is serious. Sometimes it’s best if we just bark at the passing traffic. But thank you just the same.
