The guy kinda has a point

13 Feb

from iMaksim.

If you betray your principles and sell out then you get what you deserve.  This criticism is not directed to the laiety, but to the leadership, although it was up to the layman to rise up against the leadership, much as we are now finally rising up to the leadership of the country.

But this warning also goes to every health insurance company, every investment firm, every single company or individual who has sold their souls to this President or statism in general.  The Catholic Church bought into FDRs Social Security scheme and only pretended to be against abortion and contraception since they still accepted Nancy Pelosi and John Kerry in their ranks.  They were riding the alligator.

As you ride on the back of the alligator feeding it small rabbits, sooner or later rabbits will no longer satisfy the apetite of this alligator.

Speaking of another guy with ‘flexible’ principles, another from iMaksim….

Principle is everything.

I have been very disappointed in the way so many churches have adopted a leftist attitude. You would think that of all institutions it would be churches which would realize that charity and compassion have to be voluntary actions and that coercion by government is neither charitable nor compassionate. Some chickens are coming home to roost.
