Virginia Republicans need to push back against the party Establishment

08 Feb

In light of Rick Santorum running the table last night, winning victories in Colorada, Minnesota and Missouri, and in response to both the Governor and Lt. Governor hopping on the Romney bandwagon while Santorum isn’t even on the ballot in Virginia, it is more critical than ever that Virginia Republicans speak in a very loud voice to the Republican machine.  We conservatives do NOT support their guy.  We demand a conservative nominee to combat Obama this November.

As Santorum said last night, he’s not the conservative alternative to Romney, he’s the conservative alternative to Obama.

The only way to do that?  Show up at the ballot, receive a ballot and submit it without marking for a candidate.  It’s called an ‘undervote’ and if enough of us do it a powerful message will be sent to the machine.

I wrote about this ‘None of the Above’ strategy here during the ballot qualification fiasco and it’s time to start rallying behind the only alternative we true conservatives have at this point.

It is certainly a sad commentary when “none of the above” is the best we can hope for.

I don’t look at it that way at this point. I figure a None of the Above vote to be a vote for Santorum.

Or are you looking for the next Goldwater?
