Utah Senator Mike Lee is the Real Deal

01 Feb

The emperor’s illegal recess appointment for the newly created and unaccountable Consumer Finanacial Protection Bureau, a new agency hidden within the Federal Reserve should be of grave concern to all Americans, regardless of party afiliation.  It sounds all nicey nice.  Who doesn’t want consumers protected, right?

It’s not like what it sounds.  It’s an internal anti-Free Market cudgel for statists embedded in the federal bureauocracy with absolutely no oversight to reign hell fury down on every private business in the country.  This is serious shit, my friends.  It’s another aspect of the unfolding of the Obama dictatorship.

I won’t lift any of Bryan Preston’s original post, but go there and click on the link to the radio interview of the champion resisting this iron gloved bureau, Sen. Mike Lee, who has been called out by the Emperor because of his heroic resistance to the uber-extra-unConstitutional recess appointment to this diabolical new boot on our throats.

Exit question….When are the Republican candidates for President going to inform the American people about this?  Is it not important?  If I were running this would be a centerpiece of my attack against Mein Fuhrer.

The whole recess appointment issues has an interesting twist to it, because the head of that agency is required by the legislation creating the agency to be confirmed by the Senate, so that in effect, the recess appointment provisions of the Constitution do not apply. Obama has clearly and intentionally violated the law and should be impeached.

Wrap it up in noble sounding words while more liberties and money are lost for the American people. Constitutional lawyer? Really? Who is this guy on the throne?
