No Wonder. Unions devour Twinkies as costs Snowball.

11 Jan

Hostess brands, the maker of Wonder Bread, Twinkies, Snowballs, Ho-Hos and other artery clogging delights, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection today.  The main reasons: debt and out of control labor costs associated with exorbitant retirement obligations that Hostess agreed to with their unionized labor force.

The Teamsters say they’re members have sacrificed much to save the company.

Donette make you wanna cry?  Ding Dongs.

Meanwhile, the long Obama winter continues.

Actually, this is all part of Michelle Obama’s secret plan against obesity; to bankrupt the companies that make sugary treats. Maybe Bain Capital needs to swoop in and save the day. After all, I have a constitutional right to my twinkies.
