Build Absolutely Nothing Anywhere Near Anything
The latest? Conoco Phillips wants to extract petroleum and natural gas from the Alaskan National Petroleum Reserve, an 23 million acre oil field established in 1923, but to move the product out and get supplies in they need to build a bridge.
Obama, Interior Secretary Ken Salazar, the EPA and the Army Corps of Engineers are blocking it.
More obstruction. Higher energy prices. More unemployment.
Obama says he’s not stopping the oil companies from getting new supplies. But when he doesn’t allow oil to be taken out of something called the National Petroleum Reserve, you know he’s lying.
Go read the whole thing. It is a thorough description of yet another example of the purposeful destruction of this once great nation.

Oh no did I hear someone say that Obama lied? He would never do that and I don’t understand why anyone would say he did. Are you reading all this junk? The only time he told the truth was before he got to be President or whatever you call that. Who can believe a word he says. You know what they say every time he opens his mouth a lie comes out.

It’s called a “reserve” for a reason… The “green” actions that Obama is trying to take amongst a corrupt government are necessary to fight off the dismal future we are soon to encounter. While those efforts are CERTAINLY not perfect, at least they are shining a light on alternatives to oil, which is simply milking money from our pockets and integrity from our elected officials. The commodity which is oil won’t be around forever. Let’s start looking at alternatives rather than raping the last bit of our untouched country.
Reading through your posts, I am amazed that you have not posted recently about the National Defense Authorization Act just passed through the Senate. Far more troubling than Obama’s anti-capitalism speech in Kansas or oil drilling. What are your takes on it? 1% vs. 99%, rich vs. poor, republican vs. democrat, this us versus them mentality has got to go before it destroys us.
