New Hampshire Union Leader endorsement summed up in one line.

27 Nov

The New Hampshire Union Leader not only gave Newt Gingrich a strong endorsement in the New Hampshire Presidential Primary, they also strongly chided Mitt Romney in one powerful line;

 “We would rather back someone with whom we may sometimes disagree than one who tells us what he thinks we want to hear.”

Ouch, Mitt has made a political career out of putting his finger in the air, determining the predominate direction of the breeze and tailoring his rhetoric accordingly. The Union Leader, to their credit, has called Romney out.

    Hey Martin;
    It just dawned on me why I’ve had this recurring thought that Romney is greasy/slimy/slick…

    Look at that guy’s hair.

    I’m the kind of guy who takes a shower before work. I’m not the kind to slather grease or vaseline or lard or baby oil into my hair thinking it would make me more appealing. In fact, I believe it would make me appear greasy or slimy.

    While the line of criticism I just offered is non-substantive with regard to Romney’s positions on policy, for the cry-aye-aye can’t the guy understand the way he looks? Slimy? Greasy?
