CBS Debate FAIL.

12 Nov

They touted the fact that they were hosting a Republican Presidential Debate on Foreign Policy, but they’d only show an hour of it.  They went to NCIS half way through.

Then you’d have to go to their website to watch the rest and their web site was not up to the task of actually hosting a watchable debate.  It was herky.  It was jerky.  It was unwatchable.

First.  Republicans should always know that CBS is a leftist organization through and through, top to bottom.  Remember Dan Rather’s ‘fake but accurate’ attack with his phony memos about George W. Bush’s military record?  How about Katie Couric’s attack of Sarah Palin?

Why did the candidates agree to walk into this trap?

Viacom is the parent company of CBS, and its CEO, Sumner Redstone, gave money to Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Dianne Feinstein, and Al Franken.

Other board members?

Joseph Califano, Jimmy Carter’s HEW Secretary and a major player for Lyndon Johnson.

Bill Cohen, Bill Clinton’s SEC DEF.

It’s time for the Republicans to be selective about who hosts their debates and how they are conducted.  More face time is not necessarily good face time.

You boys (and Michele) got gamed.

All Republican candidates should freeze out CBS for this disrespect.  Face the Nation?  Sorry, I’m getting a facial and I won’t be able to make your little show.

Second.  All Americans should contact CBS and voice their outrage at this shoddy treatment.

Their website doesn’t make for easy access to communication with the corporate ship.  Look up your local affiliate and raise hell there.  Collectively there should be an outcry that might trickle up to the top.

Conservatives are the vast majority in this country, yet the leftist media rules.

Why do we watch MSNBC or read the Washington Post? Why do we give them power (and money) by giving them attention?

I boycott Politico, the NYT, ABC News — first of all because I need an air sickness bag on hand if I don’t.

But what if conservatives en mass simply vowed to abstain from aiding and abetting our media enemies?
