Say what?

Upon opening the leftist mouthpiece rag which tries to pass for a newspaper the following editorial almost knocked my socks off….

The latest accusations against Herman Cain, which at this point are anonymous and unsubstantiated, need to be evaluated in the light of recent history. Former President Clinton, who is no stranger to womanizing, was treated rather gently both by the media and the feminist movement, which was muted in its criticism of Clinton’s gropings, attempted rape and intimate activity in the Oval Office. Herman Cain deserves the same. He should be given the benefit of the doubt. It is hypocritical of liberals to criticize Mr. Cain when they were silent about President Clinton’s much more serious transgressions. Let’s be fair and reasonable about this issue and allow Mr. Cain the decency he deserves in responding to this issue and not engage in character assassination for political purposes.

Then I woke up.
