By Imperial Fiat Obama has commanded the Government to hire more minorities onto the Federal payroll. The EEOC was a noble undertaking when its mission was to allow equal opportunity to those to whom had previously been discriminated against in their quest for Federal employment. Arguably, this mission changed over the years into a minority preference system.
But Obama says that the system isn’t rigged enough. Rig it more. Or, more probably, prevent the hiring of white males. Period.
Within 90 days, the Office of Personnel Management and Office of Management and Budget will issue a government-wide strategic plan for improving workplace diversity, focusing on recruitment, hiring, promotion, retention, professional development, and training policies and practices. That four-year plan will highlight strategies agencies can use to remove barriers to equal employment opportunities.
And 120 days after the government-wide plan is issued, agencies must submit their own four-year plans to the personnel and management offices spelling out how they will change their efforts. Agencies’ chief human capital officers will be in charge of changing employment and promotion opportunities for women and minorities, Obama said.
Lost on Obama is the nation’s outcry about the level of Federal employment already. We want CUTS to the Federal workforce. But even if this is just replacement hiring as people retire, the fact that qualification standards will be lowered to accommodate a preferred group means that the air traffic controller guiding your next flight might be there in spite of his or her inability to actually perform the job, And just like the tanning bed tax, the war on white people by a President that hates most of his constituents is fully under way.
