In the face

30 Jul

So the Democrats aren’t even going to bother looking at Bohner’s proposal?  Aghast, that’s what I am.

Here’s AZ congressman Jeff Flak (R) talking about how this whole thing is possible going to play out….

To sum it up, Jeff Flake is saying that Boehner’s and Reid’s proposals are practically the same in the short term with one notable exception – the bill that left the House actually requires the Cut, Cap, and Balance amendment to be sent to the states. I don’t really have any feelings one way or the other about Flake, but I agree with him totally in this interview. He suggests that the House should take Reid’s bill and put an amendment on it and send it right back to the Senate. What amendment you ask? Well, Cut, Cap, and Balance of course! That’s some ballsy politics and I’m all for it.

In the face…that’s where we taze ’em…
