2010 Congressional Victories are Beginning to Pay Dividends

After two years of Democrat control of Congress and our Dear Leader Obama in the White House, in which the Republicans have sufffered the equivalant of being beaten with their hands tied behind their back, the 2010 election has given the GOP a fair chance of reversing the oppressive and tyrannical actions of the left. We are finally starting to see some committee hearings and resolutions to fight back. The Energy and Commerce Committee has a busy week scheduled.

The Subcommittee on Health will hold a hearing on Thursday, March 3, 2011, at 9:30 a.m. in 2123 Rayburn House Office Building.  The hearing is entitled “FY 2012 HHS Budget and the Implementation of Public Laws 111-148 and 111-152.” or as we know it Obamacare

At 9:30 a.m. on March 2 the House Energy and Commerce Communications and Technology Subcommittee votes on a “resolution of disapproval” designed to derail the FCC net neutrality rules which exceed its legal authority.                JOINT RESOLUTION

      Disapproving the rule submitted by the Federal Communications

           Commission with respect to regulating the Internet

           and broadband industry practices.

1  Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives

2  of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

3  That Congress disapproves the rule submitted by the Fed-

4 eral Communications Commission relating to the matter

5  of preserving the open Internet and broadband industry

6  practices (Report and Order FCC 10–201, adopted by the


 1 Commission on December 21, 2010), and such rule shall

2 have no force or effect.
