Greetings from CPAC: Dear John letter edition

11 Feb

It is very late and I’m too tired for profundity, but a new mission for Disrupt is emerging.

Let’s just say that we need to wrest our Presidential nomination process away from the pundits, power players and leftists in Iowa and New Hampshire before 2012 and put that responsibility where it rightly belongs, in the hands of Texans and Virginians.

Democrats can primary there. That’s fine. That’s their base. But Republicans shouldn’t be vetted in ethanol subsidy loving Iowa. Republicans shouldn’t be vetted in the Boston bedroom community of New Hampshire.

It’s over for you two. Republicans should give IA and NH the slip.

See ya.

We’ll circle back and try to talk some sense into you after America has selected its Republican nominee.

The Republican nomination process is OUR PROCESS, DAMMIT!!

BUT. OUT.

We’re sorry to break it to you this way, but the pre-nup says that if Iowa and New Hampshire father a child named McCain, Virginia and Texas get to walk away and start its own process.

You’re out of luck. Sorry it ended this way.

Changing the states the begin the Presidential primary process is a good idea. Maybe we could also keep some states from voting at all… California, New York, Massachusetts…..
