Hot Dog Guy certain to earn Olbermann’s “Wurst Person in the World”

09 Sep

When pressed by Comedy Central’s Stephen Colbert to give some credit to former President George W. Bush, Vice President Biden actually was very gracious in his praise of Dubya’s love and support for the troops.

And yes.  They did disagree on policy.  Bush 43 wanted VICTORY.  O’Biden wanted to divide up the territory and split.

And although I appreciate the sentiment, I recognize this device as the new talking point of the Democrats.

Bush is to be admired for his love of the troops but he is to receive no credit for the successes that his policy brought to fruition.

Bush put his reputation and popularity on the line to promote this policy, one which the Democrats collectively demonized as part of their strategy to gain control of government, but a policy they are now emulating and reaping the benefits from.

Olby must be fuming.  WURST VICE PRESIDENT IN THE WORLD!!  I’m making that up.  I NEVER watch the guy because I have better things to do and he’s an idiot.

But I’ll replay the grovelling video over and over and over again, all the while remembering the General Betray Us stuff of the left.

Incidentally,  Thank you Mr. Bush.  Without your steely resolve we’d still have Saddam and his sons to deal with.  Situation?  Not perfect.  Inaction or retreat would have been much, much worse.

As for our troops?  They deserve even more thanks than I can adequately express.  So do their families.

Apparently “Bite me” disagreed with his own policy because he is now claiming that he never called for carving up Iraq.

I didn’t think, he served any useful purpose, but if you consider hot-dogs as purposeful, then give the guy 1 point.

When he was in Richmond, Vice President Biden met with many of our local citizens, and not at just a high-priced donor event. He met with us at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College and you could tell that he was very well briefed on local issues.

It is a shame that this gentleman is so rarely given the credit for being such a strong and effective representative of the citizens.

Like Tip O’Neil, he can fight over issues, yet remain friendly and polite with his political adversaries. He doesn’t take bullshit from people, either.

My impression is that Joe Biden, although a fierce partisan, is a very patriotic and devoted American who takes his duties as a citizen, very seriously. He sets a great example of maintaining civil discourse, for all of us, regardless of political affiliation.
