Those People Should Be Thanking Me! (The Audacity of The Left)

16 Aug

Rep. Rick Boucher is asking voters to believe he was acting in their best interest when he voted for the coal killing cap and trade bill. Boucher was chairman of the energy sub-committee of the previous Congress which first drafted the legislation, and was deemed to be instrumental in the bills development. Boucher opened his pre-vote remarks on the bill by saying that he was in “strong support of the bill.”[

The challenger Morgan Griffith, one of the most influential and efffective members of the Virginia General Assembly, opposes the Obama/Pelosi/Boucher “cap and trade” scheme. Their program will result in massive job cuts in Southwest Virginia’s coal industry while raising electricity, gasoline, and heating prices for all consumers and will devastate the economy.
