I am an American For Prosperity and Self Admittedly, Obama is Not

12 Aug

Obama was back on the Stump down in Texas and he gave us a little more insight into who the real Obama is. This is the most unpresidential president of my lifetime (and yes, that includes Jimmy Carter). He openly attacked a group of Americans questioning their legitimacy.

Right now all around this country there are groups with harmless-sounding names like Americans for Prosperity, who are running millions of dollars of ads against Democratic candidates all across the country.  And they don’t have to say who exactly the Americans for Prosperity are.  You don’t know if it’s a foreign-controlled corporation. You don’t know if it’s a big oil company, or a big bank.  You don’t know if it’s a insurance company that wants to see some of the provisions in health reform repealed because it’s good for their bottom line, even if it’s not good for the American people.

Well Mr. President, you can tell a lot about who they are by what they profess to believe in and strive for. Here is the mission of Americans for Prosperity;

Americans for Prosperity™ (AFP) and Americans for Prosperity Foundation (AFP Foundation) are committed to educating citizens about economic policy and mobilizing those citizens as advocates in the public policy process. AFP is an organization of grassroots leaders who engage citizens in the name of limited government and free markets on the local, state and federal levels. The grassroots activists of AFP advocate for public policies that champion the principles of entrepreneurship and fiscal and regulatory restraint.

It sounds to me an awful lot like those pesky tea-partiers. This sounds very familiar. We all remember when the democrats were accusing the grassroots tea party members of being astroturfers backed by the insurance companies.

So it sounds like the democrats and the Obama administration are making a habit of casting false accusations in an attempt to discredit legitimate dissent.

The real question, if Obama really wants to go there, is where did the donations to his 2008 presidential campaign come from? It was widely reported that more than half of the funds Barack Obama had raised had come from small donors whose names the Obama campaign wouldn’t disclose and by turning off the online fraud check on credit card donations foreign donations were not blocked.

It is much more likely that foreign money would flow to elect a citizen of the world named Barack Hussein Obama who denounces American exceptionalism and bows to foreign leaders than to a group of Americans fighting for limited government and free markets.

This is another glaring example of the impostor President not being able to engage in serious debate and instead resorting to baseless, perjorative attacks.

Regrettably, he is such a small man he does not realize (or does not care) that this behavior is not only insulting to vast numbers of Americans but it also demeans the Office of the President, which the American people would otherwise like to respect.

    But then, respect is earned.

I’m sure that Obama just saved or created lots of AFP memberships.

AFP played a leading role in ‘Hands Off Healthcare’ last year and for this they must be singled out for destruction and publc ridicule.

The Idiot-in-Chief is very predictable in all of this, his assholiness not being an orignal thinker, or anything close to it. He’s a trash talking roundballer who somehow got the keys to the White House crib at 1600 Penn.

Here he employs several of Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals, which is all this street thug community organizer knows.

    13. Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.

    5. “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counteract ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.”

    3. “Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy. Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty. (This happens all the time. Watch how many organizations under attack are blind-sided by seemingly irrelevant arguments that they are then forced to address.)

Of course, affirmative action Barry seems to have forgotten rule #7.

    7. “A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.”

Obama’s threadbare tactics of picking enemies and ridiculing opponents really has become a drag. Street hustler tactics may fake out the naive at first, but eventually even the dullards amongst us begin to awaken.

Obama has become as repetitous as the song, 99 bottles of beer on the wall.

I didn’t think it possible for that man to boil my blood anymore. He can’t even leave the dirty work to his minions; he has to personally smear a legitimate group.

Groups with “harmless-sounding names?!?” What, like Democracy in Action, Media Matters, Organizing for America, Agenda Project, Patriot Majority, CENTER FOR FREAKIN AMERICAN PROGRESS FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS HOLY?!?!?

    calming down now.

I bet another reason he went after AFP is that the Texas chapter came up with that Bill White in Groucho glasses pic when Obama was here. The One is notoriously thin-skinned, and that image of a Dem going in disguise to hide from him probably bugged him.

That, and the fact that most Americans are actually for prosperity, and by his record it’s obvious that he’s not.
